Caña con Ruda [Esp/Eng Subtitled]

     Soy de los que piensan que debemos mantener algunas tradiciones culturales de nuestras familias y/o países, y más aún aprovechando los beneficios de la tecnología criptográfica y la blockchain.

I am one of those who think that we should maintain some cultural traditions of our families and/or countries, and even more so by taking advantage of the benefits of cryptographic technology and blockchain.

     Todos los primeros de agosto de cada año, en nuestra casa, se tomaba y se toma, en ayunas, un trago de caña con ruda. La caña en una bebida muy fuerte, con 30% aproximadamente de graduación alcohólica y mezclada con ruda macho, más un adicional de miel y macerada en la oscuridad por todo un año, en lo particular lo siento extremadamente artesanal y exquisito.

Every first of August of every year, in our house, a drink of cane with rue was and is taken, on an empty stomach. The cane is a very strong drink, with approximately 30% alcohol content and mixed with male rue, plus an additional honey and macerated in the dark for a whole year, in particular I feel it is extremely artisanal and exquisite.

     Tengo entendido que la tradición viene de las comunidades Guaraníes y al ser nosotros de la provincia de Corrientes, limítrofe casi inmediato con Paraguay, es que adquirimos dichos ritos culturales.

! [English]I understand that the tradition comes from the Guarani communities and as we are from the province of Corrientes, bordering almost immediately with Paraguay, is that we acquired these cultural rites.

     Mi madre, doña Teresa Sánchez de Benítez, es quien lo preparaba todos los años, porque a diferencia de ahora, a mí me sobra, por la simple razón que tomo tan solo una copa compartida con la familia que quiera degustar y lo guardo para el año siguiente, cosa que con papá no sucedía.

[English]My mother, Mrs. Teresa Sánchez de Benítez, is the one who used to prepare it every year, because unlike now, I have some left over, for the simple reason that I only have one glass shared with the family that wants to taste it and I keep it for the following year, something that did not happen with my father.

     Y cuando cada año reincido en tamaño evento cultural, realmente siento la presencia de mis padres, por su puesto que más aún de mi madre, que es quien se encargaba de todo. Siento que al mantener la tradición, es un momento íntimo con ella y realmente, por un eterno instante me hace muy feliz.

! [English]And when every year I come back to this cultural event, I really feel the presence of my parents, of course even more of my mother, who was in charge of everything. I feel that by keeping the tradition, it is an intimate moment with her and really, for an eternal moment it makes me very happy.

     Según decía mi madre, se realizaba para los buenos augurios, buenas energías y abundancia en la casa. Ya que al se agostó un mes largo y frío en la argentina, debíamos prepararnos para tal fin.
