Without a doubt the best post you will see about the most famous animals in history! It is about the dinosaurs, these animals presented very varied sizes, some were very small but others were giants and very heavy, capable of swallowing a human being in one bite! What do you think if we enter the world "Jurassic" to learn about this interesting topic! make yourself comfortable that we will travel millions of years in the past to discover interesting things!👨‍💻👨‍🎓👨‍🏫

I hope you enjoyed the video and learned new things! first of all I would like to summarize a little about the park that is located here in Lourinhã, a small city located north of Lisbon, is cataloged as the city of dinosaurs and that Lourinhã was once the cradle of great discoveries of dinosaur fossils ! It is a family park where you can access by paying 12 euros! in the same city we found the museum! but this will be another post since it has a more scientific approach!🦖🧭

There is a lot to learn when we do park tours like these, we can see many morphological differences between dinosaur species! Those who were once kings of the planet belonged to the Sauropsida class, and if we could travel to the past we would have to get off in the Mesozoic era exactly in the Triassic! I mean between 251 to 201 million years! incredible right?😏📚

Although they inhabited the earth millions of years ago, some were evolutionarily very advanced and had a brain capable of creating hunting strategies" such as raptors! Over the years, scientists have come to the conclusion that birds are one of the Animals most similar to dinosaurs! Because of the shape of their bones and other characteristics😮😮

It is scary to think that such large animals were in all environments! There were pterodactylus hunting in the skies! then there were huge predators like the Ceratosaurus and the Allosaurus! then in the deep sea we also find other great sea monsters like the megalodon! therefore they were very diverse animals and capable of adapting to many hostile environments!👨‍🏫👨‍💻

Dinosaurs had incredible morphological adaptations, some of them had necks larger than their bodies! and this gave them a certain advantage when hunting, such is the case of the Tanystropheus, but the main characteristic that paleotologists use to know what a dinosaur feeds on is its teeth! terrestrial predators had serrated teeth capable of grasping and tearing!😏😶

I am not a paleontologist but as a biologist with experience in animal ecology we know by theory that there is a species of dinosaur called: (archaeopteryx) and that it is the ancestor of birds, from here it is assumed that birds are very close to dinosaurs! some of them already had feathers and it was believed that they could glide! unbelievable right?👨‍🏫👨‍🎓

We also see how evolution unleashes and favors many species to adapt to the external environment! For example, the huge dinosaurs like the Diplodocus were able to get up on two legs to reach the furthest leaves of the trees! We are talking about 40 meters high and more than 20 tons! We see this with the jifaras! with their long neck they feed on leaves in the peaks of the trees!👨‍💻📚

I'm always up to date with dinosaur topics and recently it was discovered that many of them shared a common characteristic! they had feathers! It is something that is speculated but it is not convenient for Hollywood to put feathers on the dinosaurs because it would take away that dark aspect of them!😮

I say goodbye with these funny photos and I really admit that I enjoyed this nice experience because I had no idea what a real size dinosaur looked like so I learned a lot today!! then I invite you to be aware because in my next post we will discover the science of how a paleontologist works! because we will visit the Lourinha museum!😏📚
