Un gran saludo musical para toda la comunidad de
Hive Open Mic llegamos a la semana nº 136 con un gran tema de referencia "Vamos a rockear" o cantemos rock, en ingles: Let's Rock!. el cual fue propuesto por @maitt87 a quien felicito desde acá, la verdad, que hoy he recordado aquellos años de mi juventud, cuando tuve la dicha de disfrutar bailando, tocando y cantando muchas canciones de las bandas venezolanas de pop Rock de los años 70 y 80 como "Los impalas", "Los 007", "Azúcar cacao y leche" "Aditus" por nombrar algunas, de manera que, en esta ocasión quise participar con una canción "La playa" de la Banda Española de pop rock "La Oreja de Van Gogh".

Como les decía, esta es una banda española del genero musical Pop-Rock, esta agrupación se formó en la ciudad de San Sebastián, en España, sus actividades musicales comenzaron en el año 1996, una banda con una exitosa trayectoria. lo cual le ha dado el derecho a recibir grandes preimios Internacionales, como: El Grammy Latino, 3​ MTV Europe Music Awards, 4​ Premios Ondas, Premios de la Música, Premio Lo Nuestro, la Gaviota de Plata del Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar, entre otros. Bueno amigos, les cuento que hoy en la tarde, al llegar de la finca, y me pregunte ¿Será que Grabo o no grabo una canción para openmic? esta pregunta me la hacía porque mañana sábado tengo que regresar a la finca, pero pudo más las ganas de cantar, porque no quería dejar de pasar esta semana de rock, así que decidí cantar esta canción "La Playa" la cual fue escrita originalmente por por Xabi San Martín, pero con el nombre de: "La canción más hermosa del mundo", luego esta canción es grabada por la banda La Oreja de Van Gogh con una nueva versión de rock, con un estilo suave y agradable.

Se dice que el autor de la letra de esta canción, se inspiró de una playa de la que un día se alejó y luego de 50 años la volvió a ver, pero también nos podríamos imaginar a una pareja de jóvenes enamorados, que por algunas circunstancias se separaron, pero que luego de 50 años se vuelven a encontrar, y este encuentro, hace revivir la llama de aquel amor, la verdad que es una letra muy bonita.
