A big greeting to the community of PukuMundo This is my participation in Puku contest "Singing voice" in its week nº 9, I will do it with the song "Blowing the wind "From the group "Los 007" a song that aired in 1967 and remained until the 70s and early 80s, the lyrics of this song are inspired by the version of Blowin' in the Wind by Bob Dylan , with a sense of protest against the injustices that exist in the world, where the men who govern us, talk and talk, offer and offer, but without doing anything to solve the problems that afflict humanity.
The lyrics of this song have a sense of protest, in the face of the problems suffered by nations in the world, the wind represents the voices of suffering, the voices of hunger and misery, the voices that yearn for peace, the voices that want freedom , but the wind also carries with it the voices of those who deceive people, so as Dylan said, the secret is in the wind.
To make a little history about the group "los 007", this band was formed in Caracas in 1965, where they began with a rock music repertoire, with their own songs and other musical groups, including songs by The Beatles. , The Hops, Eddie Cochran. In the year 1966, Los 007 achieved impressive success with the songs: Ella es un amor and El último beso, especially the latter, which was widely accepted on radio and television stations in the country, managing to occupy the first place of the Hit Venezuelan parade.
Y aunque verdades yo pueda decir
A quien le puede importar
Basta de hablar
Porque es igual
Dejen el viento soplar..
Basta de hablar
Porque es igual
Dejen el viento soplar..
Basta de hablar
Porque es igual
Dejen el viento soplar..

LYRICS: "BLOWING THE WIND"
People don't care about me
nothing matters to me
It is enough to want for one to live
Of the rest, what does it matter?
Stop talking
because it's the same
let the wind blow
There are those who spend money on pleasure
And there are those who cannot eat
Sick children who want to play
And they are in wheelchairs.
Stop talking
why is it the same
let the wind blow
The world turns and everything remains the same
Like when I was not born
And although truths I can say
who cares
Stop talking
because it's the same
Let the wind blow...
Stop talking
because it's the same
Let the wind blow...
Stop talking
because it's the same
Let the wind blow...
