So continuing my uploads here at 3Speak since, i've lost my dtube account password and profile seems to be bugged also, alas you can expect future uploads here in 3Speak, Bitchute and YouTube of course.

Today we gonna talk about first anime original series picked up by YouTube Premium - bit shocked by the pick-up given that YouTube announced earlier downsizing their budget and amount of shows they are producing.

OBSOLETE is quite interesting case of social commentary on US Military interventionism, Child soldiers, Hyper capitalist regime wars in Africa & Middle-East. Also putting value of resources over lives of people. At same time helm of the writing is Gen Urobochi whose known from Thunderbolt Fantasy and Fate Zero (The Best and only good fate series ever made) among Soundtrack done by Skrillex.

The animation is blend of 3D and slint of 2D at times especially on backgrounds. I Can't say its a masterpiece visually, its more about the commentary really - i don't know what to make out of the story since its episodic look into multiple characters across the world who are getting to know the technology behind the Exoskeletons, perhaps in Season 2 they will actually dive into a proper story and setting, i'm having hard time that Gen would write something episodic in first place.
