¡Hola amigos de Hive y amigos de la comunidad Hive Open Mic! Hoy estoy muy emocionada porque esta es mi primera participación en esta comunidad.

Siempre he amado la música y sobre todo cantar, pero nunca me había animado a hacer covers, solo lo hice una vez y fue hace mucho tiempo. Desde ese cover comencé a estudiar teatro musical por lo que he mejorado en el canto. Por eso decidí incursionar en esta iniciativa.

Hello friends of Hive and friends of the Hive Open Mic community! Today I am very excited because this is my first participation in this community.

I have always loved music and especially singing, but I had never dared to do covers, I only did it once and it was a long time ago. Since that cover I started to study musical theater so I have improved in singing. That's why I decided to take on this initiative.

He estado pensando unirme a esta iniciativa hace semanas pero admito que me costaba mucho pensar en canciones que encajaran con la temática y esta semana no fue la excepción.

Me planteé varias canciones hasta que di con la correcta: All That Jazz del musical Chicago.

Las trompetas están muy presentes dentro de la música Jazz, que es el género de esta canción y del musical entero. Esta es una historia de crimen, envidia, fama y demás contada al son del jazz tal como lo refleja esta canción que es el número de apertura.

I've been thinking about joining this initiative for weeks now but I admit I was having a hard time thinking of songs that fit the theme and this week was no exception.

I came up with several songs until I found the right one: All That Jazz from the musical Chicago.

The trumpets are very present within Jazz music, which is the genre of this song and the entire musical. This is a story of crime, envy, fame and so on told to the sound of jazz as reflected in this song which is the opening number.
