Hello dear friends, it's yet another week in #HiveOpenmic community with the theme memories. This is a beautiful theme as it brings back past memories to me, especially enabling me to remember a song with the title when I remembers. It's a beautiful song which I grew up to know as it was very popular some years ago in Nigeria. I don't think I would ever remember this song if not for the theme of this week 173 of hive open Mic.

GOOD MEMORIES HELP IN BAD MOMENTS

Sometimes in life, one may feel like giving up. However, I must let you know that, when there is nothing or no one to encourage you to keep up in life, you must think of beautiful past memories. You must remember the good old days, you must remember the times that you felt all was gone but God revived you. You must remember the wonders that God did in your life. These memories will strengthen you and give you reasons to face the challenges that life throws at you. I am writing to you out of experience, and I'm assuring you that this helps so well. There were times in my life when I felt like giving up on my vocation because of crises. However, I felt strengthened to keep pushing on when I remembered how God always fights for me and the wonders he keeps doing in my life. With those beautiful memories, I felt so strongly that giving up would be a disappointment to God. Why should I disappoint God after all he has done for me? In summary, I am only bringing to your awareness that good and pleasant past memories can help one stand tall and strong while combacting with present difficult and unpleasant moments.

As you listen to me sing and play my Violin and Recorder, may you remember glorious moments that will strengthen you as you move on in life. Moments that will make you say no no no no... I will never give up anymore
