Adulting & Independence: When Is The Right Time To Move Out Of Your Parents' House?

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for stopping by to watch me run my mouth as usual😁.

I just had a speak on the subject matter because I've come to realise that a lot of us subject ourselves to the most uncomfortable situations because of the inability to shun peer pressure in a ll the forms.

As a child, i so looked forward to being an adult. As an adult, I want to be babied.

When is the right time to move out of your parents/guardian's house?

As I stated in the video, the right time to move out us when you are READY. Ready as in stable; I'm talking financial stability, emotional stability and the likes.

This video was inspired inspired my friend who was unable to relocate to Lagos because her family wouldn't budge. As expected, she was quite upset and ranted ceaselessly about how she was moving out of her uncles house because she was tired of being bossed around. The problem is that she doesn't have the financial capacity to support herself__her rent, feeding, transportation and the likes. Also, she has never lived on her own, and it just seems unwise for her to leave in such a manner.

Do I feel some type of a way about her uncle preventing a twenty something year old from trying to make a living on her own? The answer is YES, I do.

Adultez e independencia: ¿Cuándo es el momento adecuado para mudarte de la casa de tus padres?

En primer lugar, me gustaría daros las gracias por pasaros por aquí para ver cómo se me va la olla como siempre😁.

Me ha dado por hablar del tema porque me he dado cuenta de que muchos de nosotros nos sometemos a las situaciones más incómodas debido a la incapacidad de evitar la presión de los compañeros en todas sus formas.

Cuando era niño, esperaba con ansia ser adulto. De adulto, quiero que me cuiden.

¿Cuándo es el momento adecuado para irse de la casa de tus padres/tutores?

Como dije en el vídeo, el momento adecuado para mudarse es cuando uno está listo. Listo como en la estabilidad; estoy hablando de la estabilidad financiera, la estabilidad emocional y similares.

Este vídeo se inspiró en mi amiga, que no pudo mudarse a Lagos porque su familia no quiso hacerlo. Como era de esperar, se enfadó bastante y despotricó sin cesar sobre cómo se iba a mudar de la casa de sus tíos porque estaba cansada de que la mandaran. El problema es que no tiene capacidad económica para mantenerse a sí misma -su alquiler, alimentación, transporte y demás-. Además, nunca ha vivido por su cuenta, y no me parece prudente que se vaya de esa manera.

¿Siento algo por el hecho de que su tío impida que una joven de veintitantos años intente ganarse la vida por sí misma? La respuesta es SÍ, lo hago.
