El Bautizo de Nancy / La Exposición de Miguel... Cuando eran Niños. En esta oportunidad vengo por estos lados para contarles dos anécdotas sobre mi hija Nancy y mi hijo Miguel. Nancy sobre su bautizo y Miguel sobre una exposición que realizó cuando estuvo en segundo nivel de preescolar. Entrando en materia en primera instancia, luego de nacer nuestros pequeños, por lo menos en casa, tenemos la tradición que al pasar la semana de nacido realizamos el popular bautizo, o la puesta del agua. La cuestión era que yo quería que ese momento no fuera común, sino que se realizará a lo grande. Debido a la idea que yo tenía me cuestionaron mucho porque era muy exagerada, y si ven el #video sabrán el por qué.

Nancy's Baptism / Miguel's Exhibition... When they were kids. This time I come here to tell you two anecdotes about my daughter Nancy and my son Miguel. Nancy about her baptism and Miguel about an exhibition he did when he was in the second level of preschool. First of all, after our little ones are born, at least at home, we have the tradition that a week after they are born we perform the popular baptism, or the "putting of the water". The point was that I wanted this moment not to be common, but to be done in a big way. Because of the idea I had I was questioned a lot because it was very exaggerated, and if you see the #video you will know why.

Ahora, resulta que mi idea consistía en reunir a una cierta cantidad de personas para que realizarán esa puesta de agua. A varios familiares la cantidad no les gustó mucho ya que podría causarle alguna enfermedad a la niña. Resulta que tenían razón, porque luego de que terminara el festejo, al cabo de unos días la niña se enfermo con una gripe tremenda, gracias a Dios se le pudo controlar. Sin embargo, el día de la puesta del agua todo se realizó muy, pero muy bien. Ese día una de las personas que no estuvo de acuerdo con lo que hicimos, le dió un toque de picardía o risa al momento, pero tenía razón. Todo esto lo podrán disfrutar en el material audiovisual.

It turns out that they were right, because after the celebration was over, after a few days the girl got sick with a terrible flu, but thank God she was able to control it. However, on the day of the watering everything went very, very well. La otra anécdota que le corresponde a Miguel, fue su exposición en el segundo nivel de preescolar. Ahora, antes de entrar en las Carmelitas, institución educativa donde se encuentra estudiando en la actualidad, el niño no había sido aceptado en varios preescolares visitados. Todo ello a causa de su condición de hiperactividad ocasionada por el sufrimiento fetal durante el embarazo de su madre. Sin embargo, aún cuando fue aceptado en la institución antes mencionada, la docente que le correspondía la sección de Miguel la tenía tomada con él, por la condición que ella sabía luego de la entrevista que tuvimos con ella.

La cuestión era que antes de la exposición se iban a sortear los temas de la misma, a Miguel le tocó cierto punto pero cuando acudimos a hablar con la maestra para que nos explicara el procedimiento, ella nos dice que por la condición de Miguel el tema parece muy fuerte para él y por ello se lo iba a dar a otro alumno que estaba un poco más avanzado. La reacción de nosostros como padres la podrán ver en el vídeo, y lo que dijimos al respecto también.

Al final Miguel hizo su exposición y hasta una antena de televisión estilo bigote rompimos para que mi hijo la usará como apuntador, que por cierto cuando regresamos a casa el niño se puso a llorar porque la había dejado en el colegio. Otra cosa fue, que cuando Miguel iba a exponer la maestra nos dijo que nos pusiéramos al lado de él porque a lo mejor necesitaba ayuda, cosa que no hicimos, sino que nos quedamos en nuestros asientos para grabar. The other anecdote that corresponds to Miguel, was his exposure in the second level of preschool. Now, before entering the Carmelitas, the educational institution where he is currently studying, the child had not been accepted in several preschools visited. All this because of his hyperactivity condition caused by fetal distress during his mother's pregnancy. However, even when he was accepted in the aforementioned institution, the teacher who was in charge of Miguel's section had it out for him, due to the condition she knew about after the interview we had with her.

The issue was that before the exhibition, the topics were going to be drawn, Miguel was given a certain point, but when we went to talk to the teacher to explain the procedure, she told us that due to Miguel's condition, the topic seemed too strong for him and that is why she was going to give it to another student who was a little more advanced. In the end Miguel made his presentation and we even broke a mustache-style TV antenna for my son to use as a prompter, which by the way when we returned home the child started crying because he had left it at school. Another thing was, when Miguel was going to expose the teacher told us to stand next to him because maybe he needed help, which we did not do, but we stayed in our seats to record.
