Primera prueba: Luces y Angulos [ESP/ENG]

Hoy quiero contarles un poco sobre la prueba de ángulos y luces que hice con mi primo el otro día, para cuando por fin comencemos a grabar a los artistas en nuestro estudio y también mostrarles uno que otro video que grabamos de prueba ese día. Como tal es algo sencillo por ahora, pero en el camino iremos viendo que nos inventamos.

Today I want to tell you a bit about the angle and light test I did with my cousin the other day, for when we finally start recording the artists in our studio and also show you the odd video we shot as a test that day. As such it's something simple for now, but along the way we'll see what we come up with.

La idea principal era hacer algo aparecido a las secciones de Bizzarap en donde se llega a ver tanto al artista al frente como al productor(en mi caso beatmaker) en la computadora en el fondo del video. Pero también queríamos probar con diferentes ángulos y alturas a ver que tal nos quedaba.

The main idea was to do something similar to the Bizzarap sections where you get to see both the artist in front and the producer (in my case beatmaker) on the computer in the background of the video. But we also wanted to try different angles and heights to see how it would look.

Movimos un poco las cosas para “aprovechar” los mejores lados de la habitación y colocamos una luz verde en las primeras pruebas, que la verdad no me convence mucho, así que posiblemente la descarte como opción para cuando venga un cantante a menos que al mismo le guste.

We moved things around a bit to "take advantage" of the best sides of the room and placed a green light in the first tests, which I'm not really sold on, so I'll probably discard it as an option for when a singer comes in unless the singer likes it.

Primeras pruebas

También intenté poner el teléfono en un punto elevado y me parece que quedaba una vista interesante, aunque es algo incomodada para grabar y justo ahora no tengo otro paral o trípode que llegue tan alto, así que por ahora esa opción queda descartada.

First tests.

I also tried to put the phone on a high point and it seems to me that it was an interesting view, although it is somewhat uncomfortable to record and right now I don't have another parallel or tripod that reaches so high, so for now that option is discarded.

Luego intentamos poner la cámara frente a la pared en donde está la computadora y con el artista de lado. Me parece que esta también puede ser una buena opción. También intentamos en una donde al artista se le vea un poco mejor la cara en la cámara, que obviamente es lo más importante, pero en los anteriores simplemente queríamos darle un toque distinto para variar.

Then we try to put the camera in front of the wall where the computer is and with the artist on the side. I think this could also be a good option. We also tried one where the artist's face looks a bit better on camera, which is obviously the most important thing, but in the previous ones we just wanted to give it a different twist for a change.

Palabras finales.

Con esta pequeña prueba nos dimos cuenta de que todavía tenemos mucho más que practicar y pensar, además de todo el proceso musical, aunque según yo leído y visto bastante sobre este tema.
