The Strangers Chapter 1, directed by Renny Harlin, features a screenplay by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freeland, adapted from a story by Bryan Bertino. Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez star as Maya and Ryan, a couple facing terror from three masked strangers during a road trip. Stranded in Venus, Oregon, their night in an isolated Airbnb becomes a nightmare. This installment marks the third in The Strangers series and initiates a new standalone sequel trilogy. Set for release by Lionsgate Films on May 17, 2024.
