I was able to fix the trail camera which died after two weeks of use. The cam was at one of two scratchposts I actively monitor.
In this video, I made the decision to name each scratchpost, so I don’t refer to them as scratchposts because it can get confusing. So this one will be the Lower Scratchpost, whereas the other one will be the Upper Scratchpost, based on their location.
After reinstallation, the trail camera captured a lone wild boar (Sus Scrofa). I have had several encounters with the wild boar and I’m happy to see he’s still alive and well, and that he’s healthy, uninjured and fat, which suggests he’s well fed. I’m not sure why he’s alone, seeing as wild boars tend to be quite family oriented and whole family packs roam the woods. This one is alone, but he’s doing well and the latest trail cam footage proved me he’s still on top of his game despite being alone and not having a family backup.
