Hi guys, welcome to my little vlog today. World Tribal Day was celebrated in our village yesterday. August 9 stands for 'World Adivasi Day'. A committee was formed by the United Nations in the year 1982. The first meeting of which was held on August 9 of the same year. After 10 years in AD 1992, the 'Earth Conference' was organized at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In which 400 tribal leaders from 68 countries participated and appealed to the world community for a global awareness campaign to save tribals and nature. Pursuant to this, the 11th session of the UNO declared the year as the 'World Indigenous Year' and since the first session of the United Nations was held on 9 August, it was announced to celebrate 9 August every year since 1993 as the 'World Indigenous Day'. On this day, all the tribals take out a rally in their village and city and perform routines by wearing their own dress. Tribals also worship their gods together. This day is celebrated like a festival. Here ends my vlog for today. thank you
