I was in Sandpoint point to document residents protesting the community funded library. The people were protesting because the library staff has been kicking people out and/or refusing entry for those not choosing to wear a mask. They cite a policy recently passed by the board overseeing the library. The policy states anyon entering any east Bonner County Library district facilities wear a mask. That policy applies to its workers. If the board could just vote to pass a policy dictating something like this that is outside the defined rules and codes of conduct couldn't they do it for anything or to excluded any group? This is a conversation out front before we tried to enter the building not wearing masks. This young man was yelling at the protesters to "Just wear MASKS!" Please LIKE, SHARE AND SUBSCRIBE!
