>_ Después de visitar el histórico circuito de Le Mans donde terminamos con un campeonato más apretado que nunca, con apenas 16 puntos de diferencia entre los cuatro primeros contendientes, el MotoGP llegó con la sexta fecha al circuito de Mugello para disputar el Gran Premio de Italia.

El piloto de Yamaha, Fabio Quartararo logra llevarse la victoria en el Gran Premio de Italia después de dominar todo el fin de semana. Después de haber logrado su cuarta pole consecutiva, el frances que estrenaba por fin un dispositivo de hole-shot similar al de las Ducati, pudo mantener a raya a Bagnaia (P2) y Zarco (P3), al menos los primeros metros, perdiendo solo una posición contra el italiano al pasar por la primera curva del gran premio.

Desafortunadamente para Pecco, que lideraba la carrera después de dos vueltas, perdió el frente de su moto obligándolo a abandonar el gran premio.

Zarco lograría alcanzar a Quartararo y por dos vueltas lideró el gran premio, hasta que en la cuarta vuelta, 'El Diablo' dejaría atrás definitivamente a su compatriota y no perdería la posición por el resto de la carrera y dosificando sus tiempos de vuelta para terminar en la primera posición.

Miguel Oliveira se llevaría la segunda posición del gran premio con lo que obtiene su mejor resultado en lo que va del 2021. En la vuelta 16, Oliveira lograría rebasar a Zarco que empezaba a perder adherencia en el neumático trasero.

El actual campeón, Johan Mir, revasaría a Zarco una vuelta después para empezar la persecución del piloto portugués. Desafortunadamente para el español, y después de una controversial decisión de los directores de carrera, terminaría en la tercera posición apenas unas centésimas detrás del piloto de KTM.

Miller terminó sexto, que al igual que Zarco, no pudo mantener en buen estado ese neumático trasero.

>_ El multiple campeón sigue batallando y nuevamente terminó en suelo después de tocar a Binder en los primeros giros de la carrera, afortunamente no pasó nada más y es consiente que se equivocó al intentar el revase.

Rossi tuvo un mal fin de semana y apenas logró terminar en la P10 detrás de Petrucci.
