    About :

    NOW IN ENGLISH!!!

When we talk about Gari Kasparov we must pay attention because his games are synonymous of tactics and depth, for many years he was the best in the world, he reached 2851 ELO points being the highest in history surpassed in 2010 by the current world champion Magnus Carlsen 2882. In 2005 Kasparov officially retired from official tournaments, this year he was invited to a tournament in Croatia where only the chess elite would play, that is to say, the best in the world among the veterans Vishwanathan Anand was also invited, the case of Kasparov is that today he is 58 years old and that has a lot of weight in the way he plays, in the second match of that tournament Gari Kasparov with black pieces had his shortest defeat in the history of his career, surrendering in just 7 moves against GM Shakhriyar Mamedyarov with white pieces, it seems incredible but it was only 7 moves enough.

    What surprises me the most.

    1.png

At the beginning it is normal to see everybody playing an accepted Queen's gambit was what was played in this game but, Mamedyarov goes out of the known theoretical ways and in his third move he doesn't take his knight to f3 which is normal in the Queen's gambit and Kasparov sees the possibility to break in the center letting Mamedyarov's plan to cook until it reaches its exact point.

    2.png

Here Kasparov abandons and basically because they are going to riddle the pawn on f7 and can not be captured the white bishop that will enter there, on the other hand the black King will be left in a very open position with white already castled an active rook really was going to be a massacre of pieces and Kasparov decides to spare himself that suffering even if this was his shortest defeat in his entire career.
