In today's video I am going to talk about two things mainly, the first one is that we are going to see how an opening as quiet as the Italian Opening, which was practically fashionable in the romantic era of chess, becomes so aggressive. This game was played by the first world champion Wilhem Steinitz leading the white pieces against a Cur Von Banderleben who was a great rival and a real monster at the board.

The second point of this video has to do with Von Banderleben and the attitude he took in the following position

There was a great chess master named Bent Larsen who was a gentleman in this sport because if because of his mistake his opponent was in a combination to checkmate him, then he allowed his opponent to checkmate him. Von Bardenleben's attitude was overshadowed by Steinitz's champion's attitude, who after such a rude gesture stood up and explained to the audience why his opponent had acted in such an unsportsmanlike manner.
