A child who was able to quote the civil code of Louisiana by heart, no doubt, in any era is someone amazing, this prodigious memory led him to awaken his interest in chess very early and became the best, to the point of being immortalized in history for eternity, there are countless things that are told of this man, who died very young, however, only wonders spoke of him those who managed to face him or meet him. Adolf Anderssen once said "that no one took himself as seriously as our personage of today". When he had already demonstrated all he could do on the board he began to hate the game, in the video I explain why. Once Luois Paulsen (immortal player) said that this character had retired not to play against him, to which our hero of today replied "Paulsen will never beat me a game". When they faced each other to see from which leather came out more straps, our hero showed why he was the best. I hope you enjoy the video, I invite you to debate and leave your opinions in the comments, greetings and a big hug.
