    About :

For week 130 of Hive open mic I have decided to bring a song that brings back some pretty interesting memories, moments in which I shared with friends some of the first songs that this band had written for their first releases.

Coldplay is one of those musical groups that a large percentage of people like, and when I say this, I also make reference to the fact that there are many occasions in which individuals with very different musical tastes listen to this band, it is like a common love that some have, for example in my case, it has been like that for a while now, because my neighbors play their music very loud, I notice what they listen to, and I can say that nothing of what they play is to my liking except when they decide to play a Coldplay song.

I think I once saw a TV show that said that Coldplay's music helped a lot to relax and fall asleep, this conclusion was made due to some scientific studies that observed the brain's reaction when listening to the music of this band, something that personally I can confirm, because I think my brain does release the necessary neurotransmitters to relax when listening to that kind of music.

This week's theme seemed to me a very good alternative to give me the opportunity to choose a song more adapted to the voluntary desire. I had a couple of other options, but I was rehearsing quite a lot the song "don't panic" from the band that today is obviously the protagonist. What I like most about this song is the melody of the song, it seems simple but it has its science, and it is very good to study a little the style of singers like Coldplay because they are singers who know how to use well the low registers, using mostly the falsettos when making high notes, a formula that I use to perform regularly.

The lyrics of the song are a bit strange to me, but I was trying to understand the meaning of its brevity and subjectivity and I think it speaks of a moment of loss, anguish or melancholy to remember the past, as it begins talking about how the bones sink like stones before places and homes where you were once, maybe it is talking about a memory or the loss of a place; before all this, the message ends up transformed into a statement that we now live in a beautiful world. Perhaps the lyrics speak of a way to meditate on something beautiful before the melancholy of the memory and the mind, to take refuge in a happy place within oneself, this is a good method to lean on something.

    Lyrics.

    Bones sinking like stones
    All that we fought for
    Homes, places we've grown
All of us are done for

And we live in a beautiful world
Yeah we do, yeah we do
We live in a beautiful world

    Bones sinking like stones
    All that we fought for
    Homes, places we've grown
All of us are done for

We live in a beautiful world
Yeah we do, yeah we do
We live in a beautiful world

We live in a beautiful world
Yeah we do, yeah we do
We live in a beautiful world

    Oh, all that I know
There's nothing here to run from
'Cos yeah, everybody here's got somebody to lean on
