I have been working, together with some musician friends, on a tribute to Cerati. As soon as I get the chance, I will collect some music from the rehearsals. As I was saying, in the middle of the musical work to make better covers, I have had the opportunity to have a great arranger friend who has helped me in the process. Thanks to this, I was able to understand Gustavo Cerati's song "Vivo" better, integrate certain parts that I didn't play before and interpret it with other chord forms, which gives it a more spectral and mystical color characteristic of the original version.

Creative processes are interesting when they become analytical. It is inevitable not to make a creative process analytical when trying to understand the science and structure of an artist and his song. Cerati handled many details, surfaces and layers that gave a unique atmosphere to his creations, this is something he executed especially in his album "siempre es hoy" with songs set with electronic sounds and unique harmonic forms in detail.

Vivo is a special song, an expression that explains the value and the desire to live by a spiritual entity, which has understood how valuable is the feeling of loving through the earthly human experience. "To know the other half is little" refers to the immaterial plane, the other half is the other side of reality on a subtle level. Being and being has its advantages, life is a gift full of experiences and inspiring moments.

I am fascinated by the calm and melancholic energy at the beginning of the song, followed by an emotional pre-chorus that leads to the resolution of an energetic and full of life chorus, when suddenly, everything falls apart in a chromatic bridge that gives a tension and confusion to the feelings, to descend again to calmness.
