    About :

Greetings and hivers! Happy Wednesday. Today I bring you a Spanish rock classic, a creation of the Chilean band: "Los prisioneros".

The song is called "Tren al sur". It is a very happy song that talks about a train trip to the south. Its lyrics are a nice description of the outstanding emotions born from a trip to a beautiful place where joy is overflowing.

I like this song because it speaks of a destination that goes beyond greed. "And don't call me poor for going traveling like this, can't you see I'm happy, can't you see I'm going happy?" This is a part of the lyrics of the song that I like very much because its lyrics refer to a feeling of happiness before your journey beyond your greed. To me in particular, it conveys the nostalgia that is reflected in the minds of certain people when they make the decision to emigrate. It can also be a song that speaks more of the emotion of a journey, of the enjoyment of a road and its journey.

I hope you enjoy this acoustic version. It is a very happy and moving song, with low and high parts and with a nice feeling.
    See you next time!

¡Saludos y abrazos hivers!

    LYRICS.

    Seven thirty in the morning
    My seat touches the window
    Central station, second car
Of the railroad that will take me south
    Already these irons are going
    And my heart is jumping
Because they're taking me to the land
Where at last I can once again
    Breathe in and breathe deep
    Joys of the heart, aha-ha-ha
    And don't call me poor
    For traveling like this
Can't you see that I'm happy?
Can't you see that I'm happy?
    Two thirty in the morning
The smell comes in the window
It's flowers and a thousand animals telling me
    Welcome to the South
    I remember my daddy
And I don't mind being alone
Because they take me to the land
Where at last I can once again
    Breathe in and breathe deep
    Joys of the heart
    Breathe in and breathe deep
    Joys of the heart
    And don't call me poor
    For traveling like this
    Can't you see I'm happy?
Can't you see that I'm happy?
    Traveling on this train
On this train to the South
    And don't call me poor
    For traveling like this
    Can't you see I'm happy?
    Can't you see I'm happy?
    Traveling on this train
On this train to the South
    Train to the South
    Train to the South
    Train to the South
    Train South

    LETRA.

Siete y media en la mañana
Mi asiento toca a la ventana
    Estación central, segundo carro
Del ferrocarril que me llevará al Sur
    Ya estos fierros van andando
    Y mi corazón está saltando
Porque me llevan a las tierras
Donde al fin podré de nuevo
    Respirar adentro y hondo
    Alegrías del corazón, ajá-ajá
    Y no me digas pobre
    Por ir viajando así
    ¿No ves que estoy contento?
    ¿No ves que voy feliz?
Dos y media en la mañana
El olor se mete en la ventana
Son flores y mil animales que me dicen
    Bienvenido al Sur
    Yo recuerdo a mi papito
Y no me importa estar solito
Porque me llevan a las tierras
Donde al fin podré de nuevo
    Respirar adentro y hondo
    Alegrías del corazón
    Respirar adentro y hondo
    Alegrías del corazón
    Y no me digas pobre
    Por ir viajando así
    ¿No ves que estoy contento?
    ¿No ves que voy feliz?
    Viajando en este tren
    En este tren al Sur
    Y no me digas pobre
    Por ir viajando así
    ¿No ves que estoy contento?
    ¿No ves que voy feliz?
    Viajando en este tren
    En este tren al Sur
    Tren al Sur
    Tren al Sur
    Tren al Sur
    Tren al Sur
