These past two days have been somewhat stressful. We made the decision to move to another state for good to be a little more comfortable. On Sunday (yesterday) we made the decision to move somewhat late, because we didn't know if the government was going to quarantine us for the beginning of the year we decided to travel.

Estos últimos dos días han sido un tanto estresantes. Tomamos la decisión de mudarnos a otro estado definitivamente para estar un poco más cómodos. El día domingo (ayer) tomamos la decisión de mudarnos de una vez algo tarde, debido a que no sabíamos si el gobierno iba a poner cuarentena por el comienzo de año decidimos viajar.

Uuuffff, yesterday was a really exhausting day! We had to carry several suitcases and wait for an hour for the bus to fill up before we could leave. In the meantime, the sun was burning half of my face heh, heh, heh, so I used the picture of Lord Krishna to cover me a little, of course without damaging the image.

Uuuffff, ayer fue un día realmente agotador! Nos tocó cargar varias maletas y esperar una hora a que el autobus se llenera para poder partir. Mientras tanto, el sol me quemaba la mitad de la cara je, je, je, así que use el cuadro del señor Krishna para taparme un poco, claro que sin dañar la imagen.

That same day we arrived exhausted and, besides, with a happy new year surprise he, he, he, he, he. Ese mismo día llegamos exhaustos y, además, con una sorpresiva de feliz año je, je, je. Resulta que el anaquel de ventas de víveres al mayor que estaba al lado de mi edificio sufrio un incendio que lo devastó por completo. Lo terrible de esto no fue solo el echo de que los comerciantes perdieron, si no que ahora pareciera que nadie se responsabiliza por los escombros, los cuales están contaminando el aire con el olor a basura y plástico quemado además de las cenizas que vuelan.

This little detail really screwed up our lives, plus we arrived and there has been no gas in the building since December 31.... But well, I am trying to be optimistic and thankful for what I have, accepting and forgiving the situations; but I am still disappointed with the irresponsible and frivolous system in Venezuela, how is it possible that they leave those polluting debris there for so long? But hey, let's breathe optimism. The good side is that I am starting a new stage, with music and love on my side in spite of my intolerance to things.

Este pequeño detalle de verdad nos fastidio la vida, además de que llegamos y en el edificio no ha habido gas desde el 31 de diciembre... Pero bueno, ya estoy tratando de ser optimista y agradecer lo que tengo, aceptando y perdonando las situaciones; pero aún así estoy decepcionado del sistema irresponsable y frívolo que hay en Venezuela, ¿como es posible que dejen esos contaminantes escombros ahí tanto tiempo? Pero bueno, ta respirar optimismo. El lado bueno es que estoy empezando una nueva etapa, con la música y el amor de mi lado a pesar de mi intolerancia ante las cosas.

Whatever. Today we went out to cook at a friend's house and we took the opportunity to record, take some pictures and do some shopping. This mall is very nice, it's quite close to where we live now.

Como sea. Hoy salimos a cocinar a casa de unos amigos y aprovechamos de grabar, tomar unas fotos y hacer unas compras. Este centro comercial es muy lindo, queda bastante cerca de donde vivimos actualmente.

I thought it was a nice idea to come and shoot here. I chose to sing this song because it is one of those songs that you always have up your sleeve to sing something fast ha, ha, ha, ha. But I also think it is one of the most beautiful songs I have in my repertoire. This song is by the Spanish rock band El último en la fila (the last in line) tells us a story of spite and a search for consolation for a breakup.

Me pareció linda la idea de venir y grabar aquí. Tomé la elección de cantar esta canción porque es una de esas canciones que tienes siempre debajo de la manga para cantar algo rápido ja, ja, ja. Pero también me parece que es una de las canciones más lindas que tengo en mi repertorio. Esta canción es del grupo de rock Español El último en la fila (en inglés the last in line) nos cuenta una historia de despecho y una búsqueda de consuelo por una ruptura.
