I know a hedgehog who loves galloping, 😁 but when he sees himself inside so many horses he gets a bit... nervous.

I took this photo during my last bike ride—more than 25 km.

But here on the Strava map, there is a problem: there was a stretch that I didn't record because I was distracted and also a bit worried about an action I intended to do, but I already talked about that in my previous post.

I met up with a friend to see her. And we went to a patisserie.

She ordered a cardinal, and I a...🤔 marquise? (look, I don't know what that's called in English) - I only know it has meringue.

Both chose to drink malt. As you can see the service is very bad, they don't even have glasses to offer there. You have to drink straight from the can.

Before buying the sweets I asked my friend if there was a better place than that. No, she said. 😟

I can't conceive that in the middle of Miramar, 31st Street, near the tunnel, there is only one place where you can sit down to talk and have a drink.
    ...
Sorry... I was busy paying attention to my friend, so I owe her the photo of the sweets, and yes, I have to admit that they were quite good.

tartaleta, cosa rica 🤣 do you like guava?

The meeting was not long, just a few minutes in which the main topic was immigration. She was a bit pressed by family commitments and I could tell that we had a hurried conversation. Although this doesn't make me feel entirely comfortable, I understand that people have their priorities and I just showed up there. Anyway, I wanted to keep pedalling.

She is leaving this country soon, it seems she has everything well arranged for her departure, except for the issue of her dog, which she still can't find anyone to leave it with. I suggested that she should start looking for someone to adopt him as soon as possible. There were looks and even proposals for me to be that person, which saddened me a lot because this has been happening to me frequently. Very dear people are leaving and they want me to take care of their pets.

I just can't for various reasons. Because I already have two... and the situation here is not at all easy with the food issue, in addition to the many other attentions that a pet requires. Besides... I may have plans, but we never know. Life is an eternal flow. 😏

Back on topic: I've had to learn to say no, with the pain of my soul. I hope she finds the right people who know how to give the love this friend will need to cope with the absence.

What I can't say no to is cycling. I feel great on the road. In the video I share a few moments of the cycling day. These are some scenes from around 31st and 10th avenue in Miramar until I joined 7th street to reach 70... I recorded more but I really only had one bracket to put the camera on my arm and the vibration was too much.

This was one of the objectives to be achieved: reach the coast and spend some time by the sea. The weather took a turn for the worse when I finally arrived and well... it started to pour. At first, I wanted to hurry to get home dry. However, I accepted the conditions that the Universe was putting on me and decided that cycling in the rain was going to be healing because the Universe is wise, and this is what it wanted. Unfortunately, the GoPro that my friend lent me had no battery to film in the rain and there was also lightning that would take anyone's breath away.

How I would have loved to have some of those video footage!

    I wasn't afraid, I was enjoying myself.

So, as I got wet, I felt a kind of liberation. Little by little, any negativity or sadness I might have had drained out of my body with the water and when I got home, I was so happy. The only thing a downpour can't do is make me forget about... chocolate. So, the first thing I did when I got home was to eat a few of those called kisses. And, of course, I dried my bike (this girl) well before taking off all my wet clothes and having a nice hot bath.
