DIY POMPONES DE PAPEL

Paso a paso pompones de papel de seda o papel crepé

Después de mucho tiempo lejos de hive, regreso con mis pequeños tutoriales dónde puedo enseñarles a realizar cosas que son muy sencillas pero que muchas veces no tenemos idea de cómo hacerlas nosotros mismos.

En esta oportunidad les voy a presentar cómo hacer pompones, que son súper hermosos y decorativos, se pueden hacer de diferentes tamaños y de diferentes colores.

Necesitaremos unicamente

• Papel crepé, papel china o papel de seda de 50x70cm
• Tijera
• Hilo, nylon o alambre

¡Comenzamos!

La cantidad de papel va a depender del tamaño de los pompones

En este caso para el vídeo hicimos uno pequeño de unos 15cm de diámetro.

• Para este pompón utilizamos solo un pliego de papel divido por la mitad hasta obtener 8 pedazos, que es la mínima cantidad de pedazos que debemos tener para realizarlos.

A medida que sean más grandes nuestros pompones iremos necesitando más papel y más dobleces.

• El siguiente paso es doblar en zig zag, quedando las tiras con un grosor de 1,50cm aproximadamente.
• Ya doblados todos los pedazos, marcamos el centro y amarramos con un pabilo, nylon o alambre y dejamos por lo menos unos 30 o 40cm de sobrante para luego poder guindarlo de donde queramos.

Para esto yo prefiero utilizar nylon porque no se verá al momento de utilizar los pompones en nuestras decoraciones.

Los bordes de nuestra tira de papel van a quedar irregulares y lisos, por eso el siguiente paso es

• Darles forma, que puede ser circular, en punta, zigzag, ondas o como su creatividad le permita innovar o crea que se verá más bonito. En este pompón cortamos de forma semicircular.

Ahora con mucho cuidado y mucha paciencia para no romper el papel, vamos separando una a una las capas que se crearon y le vamos dando forma redonda a nuestro pompón.

Tips
Para pompones grandes vamos a utilizar 5 pliegos de papel de seda (50x70cm) o papel crepé de esta misma medida. Los doblamos a la mitad y lo convertimos en 10 pedazos de papel, por ende va a quedar un pompón de unos 30-35 cm de diámetro.

Para un pompón de unos 25cm utilizamos 2 pliegos divididos hasta obtener 8 pedazos.

As our pompoms get bigger we will need more paper and more folds.

• The next step is to fold in a zig zag, leaving the strips with a thickness of approximately 1.50cm.
• Once all the pieces have been folded, we mark the center and tie with a wick, nylon or wire and leave at least 30 or 40cm of excess to later be able to hang it from wherever we want.

For this I prefer to use nylon because it will not be seen when using the pompoms in our decorations.

The edges of our paper strip will be irregular, so the next step is

• To shape them, which can be circular, pointed, zigzag, waves or as your creativity allows you to innovate or create that it will look more beautiful. In this pompom we cut in a semicircular shape.

Now with great care and a lot of patience so as not to tear the paper, we are separating the layers that were created one by one and we are giving our pompom a round shape and that's it.

Tips
For large pom poms we are going to use 5 sheets of tissue paper (50x70cm) or crepe paper of the same size. We fold them in half and turn it into 10 pieces of paper, therefore there will be a pompom of about 30-35 cm in diameter.

For a 25cm pom pom we use 2 divided sheets to obtain 8 pieces.
