Shoshi Lodge) Maharaja Shashikant Acharya Chowdhury's wonderful creation which is also known as Rajbari of Mymensingh. As you enter through the main gate of Shashi Lodge, the marble Greek goddess Venus stands in the forecourt to welcome you.
Suryakant Acharya Chowdhury was the original founder of this Rajbari established on 9 acres of land. This two storied building was named Shashi Lodge after his son Shashikant Acharya Chowdhury. This famous building was completely destroyed by the Great Indian Earthquake in 1897.
His adopted son Maharaja Shashikant Acharya Chowdhury started construction of Sashilaj again in 1905 at the same place. In 1911, he completed some more renovation works to beautify Shashi Lodge.
