Sigo en la búsqueda de juegos originados de las series animadas que solía ver en mi infancia, ya les mostré Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 y Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja 5, ambas series que seguro marcaron la infancia de la mayoría de nosotros. Uno de los atractivos que encuentro en estos juegos es que de alguna manera nos hacen recapitular y revivir aspectos muy interesantes de las series, si bien es cierto que por temas de tiempo solo hago demostraciones de las modalidades de combate, estos juegos también tienen disponible el modo historia que es sin duda más interesante, eso sí, hay que prepararse para horas de juego.

Este que traigo el día de hoy es súper especial, si bien es cierto que en mi infancia era uno de tantos, hoy en día es de los pocos que aún sigo y de los que tengo la esperanza de que se sigan serializando con historias nuevas, lo relacionado con la mitología Griega y Nórdica me llamada mucho la atención y este animé sabe muy bien como plantearnos historias interesantes; evidentemente hay mucho que se agrega pero es precisamente uno de los atractivos, el hecho de romper las historias de origen y de modificarlas para generar contenido animado o manga me parece genial.

One of the attractions that I find in these games is that somehow they make us recapitulate and relive very interesting aspects of the series, although it is true that due to time issues I only make demonstrations of the combat modes, these games also have available the story mode which is certainly more interesting, yes, you have to prepare for hours of gameplay.

This one that I bring today is super special, although it is true that in my childhood it was one of many, today it is one of the few that I still follow and of which I have the hope that they continue serializing with new stories, the related to Greek and Nordic mythology called my attention and this anime knows very well how to raise interesting stories; obviously there is much to be added but it is precisely one of the attractions, the fact of breaking the stories of origin and modify them to generate animated content or manga seems great to me.

Saint Seiya: The Sanctuary es un juego del año 2005 lanzado para Playstation 2, solo tiene un par de modalidades de juego y para esta ocasión elegí “Guerra mil días” que es básicamente un uno contra uno; también está la modalidad historia que sería las 12 casas.

Saint Seiya: The Sanctuary is a 2005 game released for Playstation 2, it only has a couple of game modes and for this occasion I chose "Thousand Days War" which is basically a one on one; there is also the story mode which would be the 12 houses.

Respecto a los personajes, en principio solo están disponibles los cinco caballeros de bronce protagonistas, en este caso Mu de Aries estaba disponible ya que logré desbloquearlo mientras lo probaba. Por lo que se ve hay una gran variedad de personajes, pero evidentemente irán saliendo a medida que los vaya derrotando en la modalidad historia.

As for the characters, in principle only the five bronze knight protagonists are available, in this case Mu de Aries was available since I managed to unlock it while testing it. As far as I can see there is a wide variety of characters, but obviously they will come out as I defeat them in the story mode.

Los escenarios para las batallas son básicamente las doce casas, no estoy seguro de si se irán desbloqueando nuevos escenarios a medida que va pasando el juego, supongo que tendría que averiguarlo.

The scenarios for the battles are basically the twelve houses, I'm not sure if new scenarios will be unlocked as the game goes on, I guess I'd have to find out.

Hablando ya del Gameplay, considero que a nivel de gráficos esta muy aceptable, para ser del año 2005 nos muestra muy buenos efectos en las batallas, el brillo de las armaduras esta muy bien logrado así como los ataques especiales, en ocasiones se puede sentir un poco lento pero es cuestión de adaptarse.

A mi en lo particular me gusta mucho, creo que lo nos muestra este juego esta muy ajustado a la historia original y eso sin duda es una ventaja, 100% recomendado para los amantes de esta serie.

Talking about the gameplay, I think the graphics are very acceptable, for a game from 2005 it shows very good effects in battles, the brightness of the armor is very well done as well as the special attacks, sometimes it can feel a little slow but it's a matter of adapting.

I particularly like it a lot, I think that what this game shows us is very close to the original story and that is certainly an advantage, 100% recommended for lovers of this series.
