Ya terminaron de jugarse los partidos de los grupos A y B de la Copa América y junto con eso ya se conocen los clasificados a los cuartos de final. Los equipos de la CONCACAF supieron plantarse bastante bien (a excepción de Jamaica), solo Canadá pudo trascender contra todo pronóstico, aunque éste servidor siempre estimó que eso podía pasar. México por su parte vivió una pesadilla futbolística y mediática en sus partidos contra Venezuela y Ecuador en los cuales vio mermadas sus chances de clasificar.
Argentina hizo el trámite y pasó primera de grupo al igual que una Venezuela que esta viviendo una Copa América histórica ya que ganar los tres partidos consecutivos era algo poco probable. Es así que Argentina jugará contra Ecuador y Venezuela hará lo mismo contra Canadá en unos cuartos de final que de seguro serán apasionantes.
The Copa America Group A and B matches have been completed and the qualifiers for the quarterfinals are now known.
