Hello friends of Hive! We are Omar and Dina from @musicandreview and we are delighted to present you one of our favorite songs, it is "Hijo de la luna" from the Spanish pop band "Mecano", the song is from the album "Entre el cielo y el suelo" which was released in 1986. The song was composed and produced by José María Cano and masterfully interpreted by Ana Torroja; it has many versions in different languages but we particularly like the version of the Spanish Metal band Stravaganzza.

For this week 82 the theme was chosen by @betzaelcorvo and is called "Stories of the Night". This song seems to fit perfectly as it tells the tragic story of a gypsy woman who fell in love with a gypsy belonging to the Calé ethnic group. Both could not marry, because the laws of each gypsy village only allowed marriage between members of the same tribe; this situation led the desperate woman to make a deal with the moon itself in order to marry her love; however, it would not be so easy.

Somos Omar y Dina de @musicandreview y estamos encantados de presentarles una de nuestras canciones favoritas, se trata de "Hijo de la luna" de la banda española de música pop "Mecano", el tema corresponde al álbum "Entre el cielo y el suelo" el cual fue lanzado en el año 1986. El tema fue compuesto y producido por José María Cano e interpretado magistralmente por Ana Torroja; cuenta con muchas versiones en distintos idiomas pero a nosotros particularmente nos gusta la versión de la banda española de Metal Stravaganzza.

Para esta semana 82 el tema fue elegido por @betzaelcorvo y lleva por nombre "Historias de la noche". Esta canción nos parece que calza perfectamente ya que nos cuenta la trágica historia de una mujer gitana quien se enamoró de un gitano perteneciente a la etnia calé. Ambos no podían casarse, debido a que las leyes de cada pueblo gitano solo permitía el matrimonio entre miembros de la misma tribu; dicha situación llevó a la mujer desesperada a realizar un trato con la mismísima luna con tal de poder casarse con su amor; sin embargo, no seria tan sencillo.
