Regards. This beautiful community today I come to bring you this incredible dance video made for the C-res video dance festival in motion.

This material was made under the beautiful Abea Solar Architect, a work done by Alejandro Otero.

    What is the Abra Solar?

The Abra Solar is part of a series of sculptures on an urban scale by Alejandro Otero and together with "Aguja Solar" he represented Venezuela at the 1982 Venice Biennale.

A year later the sculpture was placed in Plaza Venezuela as part of the works. of art integrated into the urban space by the Caracas Metro.

It is an imposing aluminum and metal structure that originally seemed not to be in keeping with the space in which it was located.

However, the work was done in space and became a visual landmark of the city and the area, which has a high road traffic. 33 butterflies or aluminum and metal blades make up the piece.

Their design makes them rotate with the wind so that movement is essential for the work.

As the researcher Constanza de Rogatis points out in an interview with El Universal, Alejandro Otero's works on an urban scale were achieved at a balance between art and engineering, so the experience of engineer Mikel Arbeola was of great importance for the artist in these projects, like that of the architect Domingo Álvarez
