Obi-Wan Kenobi - The Vintage Collection 103

Obi Wan es mi personaje favorito de Star Wars. Sin embargo, al momento, no contaba con alguna figura "realista" de él. En esta ocasión conseguí la pieza número 103 de la colección vintage correspondiente a las de 3.5 pulgadas. Esta versión de Obi Wan es una reinterpretación del personaje en la serie de The Clone Wars. Hasbro, desde el 2008, no había actualizado a Obi-Wan Kenobi como figura de acción. Puede o no importar, pero muestra que Hasbro sabiamente evitó crear otros productos para darle a los coleccionistas una figura con la tecnología actual. Una cosa es segura, esta figura de Obi-Wan Kenobi supera a todas las versiones anteriores, tanto animadas como realistas. Es una pieza de la cual estoy orgulloso de tener.

Obi-Wan is my favorite Star Wars character. However, at the moment, I didn't have any "realistic" figure of him. I got piece number 103 of the vintage collection corresponding to the 3.5 inches. This version of Obi-Wan is a reinterpretation of the character in The Clone Wars series. Hasbro, since 2008, had not updated Obi-Wan Kenobi as an action figure. It may or may not matter, but it shows that Hasbro wisely avoided creating other products to give collectors a figure with current technology. One thing is for sure, this Obi-Wan Kenobi figure surpasses all previous versions, both animated and realistic. It is a piece I am proud to own.

La figura está muy bien articulada. Tiene articulación en cabeza, hombros, codos, rodillas, tobillos, muñecas, cintura y caderas. Presenta rasgos faciales impecables, y el trabajo de pintura en la línea del pelo ha mejorado. Hasbro agregó una delicada falda de tela suave para garantizar el movimiento adecuado de la cadera sin estropear la dinámica de la escultura. La armadura del traje es muy delgada y tiene proporciones perfectas. Nada parece demasiado grande o fuera de lugar, favorece a la figura muy bien. Se ve que agregaron un poco de suciedad a la armadura. Esta vez está pintada de un color diferente. En general, la mayoría de las pinturas marrones son más realistas.

The figure is very well articulated. She has articulation in the head, shoulders, elbows, knees, ankles, wrists, waist, and hips. She features impeccable facial features, and the paint job on the hairline has been improved. Hasbro added a delicate soft fabric skirt to ensure proper hip movement without spoiling the dynamics of the sculpt. The suit's armor is very slim and has perfect proportions. Nothing looks too big or out of place. It flatters the figure very well. You can tell they added a bit of dirt to the armor. This time it is painted a different color. In general, most brown paintings are more realistic.

Los accesorios de Obi-Wan son un sable de luz y una empuñadura de sable de luz. Si hay un aspecto que aún no me termina de convencer es el número de accesorios, me hubiera gustado que incluyera un casco de Clone Trooper extraíble o una cabeza con casco intercambiable. De ahí en fuera, en general, es una excelente figura, me gustó la conversión del personaje de serie animada a figura "realista". Sin duda es una pieza que cualquier coleccionista debería tener.

Obi-Wan's accessories are a lightsaber and a lightsaber hilt. One aspect that still does not convince me is the number of accessories. I would have liked to include a removable Clone Trooper helmet or an interchangeable helmet. From there on out, overall, it is an excellent figure. I liked the conversion of the character from animated series to a "realistic" figure. Definitely a piece that any collector should have.
