I have always avoided orange while painting. For me it's an annoying colour and I dont know the feeling of "yellow" so you can imagine my confusion when I started to associatea high chroma orange with comfort. That is how I got to start this portrait. It is also a meme on my inability to see undertones of orange in real life people.
That being said it was quiet pleasing that I was able to blend this 'orange' portrait just moving around the colour wheel.
Granted there was no real effort to blend the colours since I was using a very textured brush, and keep the textures. This brush, which is a default Procreate brush,Tamar,is a real heaven sent to ease my missing the goauch brush I had become attached to on clip studio paint. The difference is that the goauche renders like a dirty brush while Tamar is a drybrush simplicita which means it retains all edges unless you blend with the blend tools.
