School sensitization, morals, and effective service delivery for students and the teachers

I realized that what we do most in our CDs (community development service) is to educate ourselves. On a lot of topics. But then, as Servicom members, we need to start going out and talking more about effective service delivery for people. Since our aims and objectives are to make sure that our customers are treated well and that there's good communication between the government and our customers, I believe the next thing to do is to start going out. And talk to people about effective service delivery.

We went out to an Anglican grammar school to talk to them about morals and effective service delivery.

We met with the students, and we talked about morals. Under morals, we talk about cultism. Cultism in school is one of the things that destroys people's lives at a young age. We let them know that once you are into cultism, it will be so hard for you to go out if it happens. We let them know that education is what they should face and that they should stay away from anything that can destroy their lives.
The speaker also talks about peer groups. the influence of peer groups. Peer groups happen to be what can destroy you as a teenager, and bad peer groups happen to be agents of cultism. This is why we need to stay away from bad peer groups.
Drug abuse is also part of our discussion as students. Using any substances to read is extremely bad. The best way to read is to know your ability. We talk about the types of hard drugs and their bad effects on humans.

How will you tell a bad peer group when they start telling you to skip classes when the rest of you are in class and you are inside the bush? This is where everything starts, and before you know it, you are already part of it.
After talking more about cultism, a boy asked me a question, saying how one should stay away from cultism.

I replied that one of the best ways to stay away from cultism is to have your best behavior. I explained further, telling them that it's good to also dress well in our society, as dressing well will speak well about who you are, and so on. But if you dress roughly by going against society's rules and regulations based on dressing, there is a tendency that you will look like a bad person, and you will be attracted to the bad people in the school, and so on.

I also talk about knowing your peer groups. This is so important because you will know who you are talking to or moving with. In schools, generally, there are so many peer groups. And, of course, there are good ones too. So always find the one that will make you grow in all ramifications, not the one that will bring you down.

Furthermore, we talk about sex education. We enlightened them that their body belongs to them, and sharing your body with someone of the opposite sex is not good. We talk about the parts of the body and why they should not share them with others; they also need to protect their entire body.

Finally, we talk about effective service delivery, and this is for the teachers. The teachers also need to know about their responsibilities to their students. By going to classes on time and also teaching the students what they need to know at the time they need to teach them.

I make an example of how I did not have mathematics teachers when I was in secondary school for a year and how it went a long way toward affecting me. When a teacher does their job, then the students will also be happy, and they won't fail any courses. The students are the customers, and we need to make sure we do our service well for them.
The students go ahead by asking questions, and answers are given to them.
We ended the program in the afternoon and made sure we achieved our aims and objectives. The principal was happy that we came around.
