Hi Hive Community, welcome to Sound Music's Praise and Worship week 40. I will like to start by giving a shout out @oluthomas who choose "Mercy" as the week's theme. Also like to acknowledge @stefy.music for this initiative.
My name is @monikanthony, i will be singing a titled "Mercy Said No" by Cece Winans.

Mercy means undeserved grace in other words. It is to show compassion, forgiveness and also being kind to someone who has made a mistake or has faulted you in any way. Its a form of loving, showing understanding and being gracious especially when the other party is not deserving of it.

This song talks about our short comings and vulnerability, indicating the strong need for the intervention of the supernatural in our daily life of salvation. God sent his Son to die, for us to be save and have eternal life in Christ because He was merciful to us and because of the love He has for us.
We should learn to live a life of redemption, showing mercy to everyone just as Christ set an example for us, we don't deserve, it but he still showered us with love.
