    About :

Just when we thought it was over?

    We've got Covid-19.

Just when it looked like we'd get through this pandemic without catching this dreadful virus. We caught it.

My wife was hit first, she has a weakened immune system due to the medication she is on to control her immune system that is attacking her own cells.

Next day it got me, next my adult kids and then the grand kids.

Thankfully we have all been triple vaccinated and so it has been like having a bad but weird dose of flu.
Headache, fever, sore throat, hacking cough, excessive phlegm, body aches and lose of taste and smell.

We thought we were getting better a few days ago and then it ramped up again.

Two weeks into it, we are on the mend by the look of things. 👍

The eight early warning symptoms of Omicron according to data from the UK, US and South Africa are:

    Scratchy throat
    Lower back pain
Runny nose/congestion headache fatigue sneezing night sweats body aches

These symptoms may appear as early as two days after being exposed to someone who has Omicron.

However, symptoms can take longer to appear, even up to 14 days after exposure, which is why if you’ve been exposed to the virus, you should either continue to test regularly (every day) or self-isolate for 10 days.

While it is very important to track the speed and spread of a virus it should not be used to point the finger at people as the carrier or transmitter of the virus. In some kind of stupid blame game. That’s about as helpful as a fart in a space suit. 😂👍

Ironically the virus that has killed and disabled so many by constantly mutating has mutated into Omicron which while it is 500 times more infectious is considerably less lethal*

*If you are fully vaccinated you will likely survive and generally feel like you have flu.

Omicron can still be lethal to the unvaccinated who represent 90% of people in intensive care.

People who have not been vaccinated may have many valid and understandable reasons as to why they don’t want to get vaccinated. Including medical complications etc.

Conspiracy theorists on the other hand need to get some objectivity which is unlikely to happen.

That is their choice and their business.

If they want to participate in this Darwinian experiment. Go ahead.
No one should lose their job or be discriminated against because of their choices as long as they conduct themselves with other people’s safety in mind
    I don’t see the problem.

We got #Covid-19 and survived by a combination of things.

Safe practices, self isolation, three vaccinations and a shed load of luck.

I’m very thankful that we didn’t get the earlier variants.
