    mini palacio subercaseux.png

Holis holis, the 25th and 26th of May are celebrated here in Chile the days of the monuments, but there are some that only open on the 25th, others only on the 26th and some that are museums and are open the rest of the year but paying, all were close by subway, after a short subway ride with the chubby we arrived at agustinas to the palace of Subercaseaux, this is in front of the municipal theater, where is a high quality chocolate store, a sculpture of babies.

Just when we arrived there was a lot of commotion because they were already closing the entrance to the palace, they had already told everyone not to enter but they let us pass because there was a baby chubby, it was not allowed to enter everywhere because it is a private place that they use as a club of the Chilean Air Force.

The palace was built in 1901 by a wealthy banker, Francisco Subercaseux Vikuña and was built by the architect Miguel Angel de la Cruz Labarca who had studied in France so everything is inspired by the architecture of the fifteenth and sixteenth century, I managed to capture the luxury of detail of the walls, I particularly liked the marble fireplaces, as well as the stairs, I usually do not like to touch things in old places, I think because of so many horror movies haha, but I did touch the fireplace and I imagined myself living there in that luxury palace, strangely I did not detail many images and I did not see pictures of the family.

I don't know if the piano is the original one of the family since Mr. Francisco's wife, Juana Brown was a pianist and a lover of fine arts, that's why her main room and most of the palace overlooked the theater that was in front. The basement is now the bar, dining room and VIP area of the Chilean Armed Forces, this became theirs in 1951, before it was only the deposit and wine cellars of the family, and a national monument and entrance restriction for preservation since 1971.

I hope to be able to go to others later on by means of my occupations, since they are approximately 30, obviously not all of them are open. I thought it was very beautiful, I hope you like it, would you like to live in a palace like this? I would, but don't let them scare you away haha.
