Hive Open mic Week 152 / Cover "Presagio"

Un saludo cordial a toda la comunidad activa del hive Open mic, tenemos el placer de compartir esta semana con la temática de música tradicional, y es para mí un honor cantar este tema que hoy les presento.

Recuerdo que en mis años de estudiante en la Universidad de canto, pude observar a muchos jovencitos que tenían en poco la música tradicional de mi país, ellos preferían cantar cualquier tema exepto los que tenían que ver con Venezuela, la consecuencia de eso era que al poco tiempo abandonaban la carrera de canto popular. Fue allí en la universidad que descubrí el tesoro que tiene la música Venezolana, se puede decir que no es nada sencillo y cuando se trata de cantarla y tocar algún instrumento se complica el asunto, la diversidad de ritmos y su riqueza armónica es un motivo para estudiar y practicar para poder ir sumando temas a nuestro repertorio.

A cordial greeting to all the active community of hive Open mic, we have the pleasure to share this week with the theme of traditional music, and it is an honor for me to sing this theme that I present to you today.

I remember that in my years as a student at the University of singing, I could observe many young people who had little traditional music of my country, they preferred to sing any theme except those that had to do with Venezuela, the consequence of that was that soon abandoned the career of popular singing. It was there at the university that I discovered the treasure that Venezuelan music has, it can be said that it is not at all simple and when it comes to singing and playing an instrument the matter becomes more complicated, the diversity of rhythms and its harmonic richness is a reason to study and practice to be able to add songs to our repertoire.

Hace algunas semanas comenté en uno de mis post para hive que quería traer música Venezolana, pero hay algunos ritmos que se me complican, pero a pesar de eso ya han Sido tres temas desde esa publicación que he interpretado y a decir verdad me ha encantado el resultado y el aprendizaje que he tenido por eso.

Hoy les interpreto Presagio, el tema original es un merengue Venezolano, es más rápido pero yo decidí hacerlo más relajado y sentido, espero que a ustedes les guste. Nos vemos pronto.

A few weeks ago I commented in one of my posts for hive that I wanted to bring Venezuelan music, but there are some rhythms that are complicated for me, but despite that there have been three songs since that publication that I have interpreted and to tell the truth I have loved the result and the learning I've had because of that.

Today I perform Presagio, the original song is a Venezuelan merengue, it's faster but I decided to make it more relaxed and heartfelt, I hope you like it. See you soon.
