Hive Open mic | Week 103 | Cover "El reloj cucú"

Saludos a toda la apreciada comunidad de hive, estoy muy contenta de estar nuevamente con ustedes, ya en la semana número 103, cada semana se vuelve un desafío subir contenido debido a todas las ocupaciones, sin embargo con mucha organización lo he logrado y me siento muy satisfecha de seguir creciendo, creando lazos de amistad y aprendiendo de otros creadores de contenido.
Agradecida siempre con la receptividad que he tenido de ustedes.

Está semana la temática elegida es supervivencia.

Yo pienso que una canción cuando quiere contar una historia no necesita ser complicada musicalmente hablando, considero que la idea principal es la letra y un ejemplo de esto es "El reloj cucú", recuerdo que de niña la escuchaba y sin entender muy bien de que trataba lograba entristecerme.

Greetings to all the appreciated hive community, I am very happy to be with you again, already in week number 103, every week it becomes a challenge to upload content due to all the occupations, however with a lot of organization I have achieved it and I feel very satisfied to continue growing, creating bonds of friendship and learning from other content creators.
I am always grateful for the receptiveness I have had from you.

This week the chosen theme is survival.

I think that when a song wants to tell a story it doesn't need to be complicated musically speaking, I consider that the main idea is the lyrics and an example of this is "El reloj cucú", I remember when I was a child I used to listen to it and without understanding very well what it was about it made me sad.

Años más tarde cuando comprendí la historia fue que pude entender el sentimiento que está plasmado en esta canción,a lo mejor muchas personas ya la conocen.

Que dificil puede ser sobrevivir a la ausencia de un ser querido, y más aún cuando somos niños y estamos acostumbrados a ver a una persona, sus afectos y todos los recuerdos que vamos haciendo en el camino.

Este tema habla de la experiencia del artista al perder a su padre a los 7 años de edad, también se hace alusión a un amigo que dijo que su padre salió por unos cigarrillos y jamás volvió.

Years later when I understood the story I was able to understand the feeling that is embodied in this song, maybe many people already know it.

How difficult it can be to survive the absence of a loved one, and even more so when we are children and we are used to seeing a person, their affections and all the memories we make along the way.

This song talks about the artist's experience of losing his father when he was 7 years old, it also alludes to a friend who said that his father went out for cigarettes and never came back.

Familias rotas, tratando de superar a diario esa pena, esa ausencia que dejó daños permanentes en el corazón de los integrantes que día a día tratan de sobrevivir, en el caso de las mujeres, les toca proveer y estar solas en el cuidado de sus hijos, y en caso de los niños, ver cómo su infancia se ve envuelta de carencias afectivas por parte de papá.

Considero que sobreponerse a la supervivencia emocional es más dificil que cualquier cosa, sanar las heridas del pasado puede ser una tarea ardua, que muchas veces se necesita de una ayuda profesional, espiritual para salir del estancamiento que podemos sufrir debido a eso.

Mi esposo me acompaña nuevamente está semana, estaba muy ocupado, pero este tema le emocionó tanto que me pidió que la cantaramos juntos y pues yo muy contenta dije que si, yo disfruto mucho de hacer armonías y para comenzar esta canción decimos hacerla en armonía.

Es dificil cantar esta canción y no dejarse llevar por la emoción, a diferencia de otras que le hemos traído acá, esta fluyó de una manera muy rápida y ya a la segunda toma estaba lista, eso sí que es una verdadera hazaña jajaja. Le hicimos algunos cambios para adaptarla en el tiempo que queríamos hacerla, ya ustedes se darán cuenta al escucharla.

I believe that overcoming emotional survival is more difficult than anything else, healing the wounds of the past can be an arduous task, which often requires professional and spiritual help to get out of the stagnation that we can suffer because of it.

My husband is with me again this week, he was very busy, but this song touched him so much that he asked me to present it together and I was very happy to say yes, I really enjoy doing harmonies and to start this song we say to do it in harmony.

It is difficult to sing in this song and not get carried away by the emotion, unlike others that we have brought here, this one flowed very quickly and by the second take it was ready, that is a real feat hahaha. We made some changes to adapt it to the time we wanted to do it, you will notice when you listen to it.
