Hive music Festival Week 19 Round 1/ Cover "Anhelante"

Que dicha el poder regresar nuevamente al festival después de estar dos semanas inactiva, siento que se me hizo eterno este tiempo, sin embargo no dejé de visitar algunas de las presentaciones de los miembros de esta comunidad y la verdad es que me siento satisfecha con todo el talento que han desbordado y el esfuerzo que cada uno de los participantes colocan semana a semana para dar lo mejor.

Estuve muy concentrada en atender la salud de mi familia estas semanas, pues se vió muy afectada y en el afán no podía encontrar una canción idónea para traer al festival, así que decidí tomarme un descanso para volver este ciclo con una mente más fresca y relajada para seguir experimentando con canciones y probando mis límites y descubriendo nuevos acordes en la guitarra.

What a joy to be able to return again to the festival after being inactive for two weeks, I feel that this time was eternal, however I did not fail to visit some of the presentations of the members of this community and the truth is that I feel satisfied with all the talent that has overflowed and the effort that each of the participants put week after week to give their best.

I was very focused on attending to my family's health these weeks, as it was very affected and in the rush I couldn't find a suitable song to bring to the festival, so I decided to take a break to come back this cycle with a fresher and more relaxed mind to continue experimenting with songs and testing my limits and discovering new chords on the guitar.

Esta canción fue una de las primeras que tenía en mente para interpretar en las primeras semanas de estrés del Festival, pero la dificultad de la armonía y acordes me hacía desistir de ella y posponerla para cuando mis manos me respondieran en la guitarra. La insistencia y disciplina son nuestros mejores aliados a la hora de practicar cualquier disciplina, al empezar a practicar hubo un momento que quise darme por vencida y cambiar de canción, pero en vez de eso me tomé un respiro, salí a pasear, hacer otras cosas y luego volví a tomar mi instrumento, de esa manera lograr terminarla y este es el resultado, sé que pudo ser mejor en cuanto a la ejecución pero aún así me siento orgullosa de este avance, pues lo que para mí era imposible hace un tiempo hoy se ha hecho realidad.

This song was one of the first ones I had in mind to play during the first weeks of stress of the Festival, but the difficulty of the harmony and chords made me give it up and postpone it for when my hands would respond on the guitar. Insistence and discipline are our best allies when it comes to practice any discipline, when I started practicing there was a moment when I wanted to give up and change the song, but instead I took a break, went for a walk, did other things and then took my instrument again, that way I managed to finish it and this is the result, I know it could have been better in terms of execution but still I am proud of this progress, because what for me was impossible some time ago today has become a reality.
