Que gusto estar nuevamente con ustedes estimada familia del Hive Open mic, Un saludo a todos los participantes de esta semana, les felicito por su trabajo y dedicación en cada presentación que ustedes hacen.

Para esta ocasión el tema elegido es "Conversación con Dios", llegaron a mi mente muchos canciones que me hubiese gustado cantar, pero entre tantas opciones vino a mi mente una canción del cantautor Alex campos titulada El sonido del silencio y creo que es perfecta para la ocasión porque habla de las emociones que podemos tener cuando sentimos que Dios no nos habla o responde alguna petición, esa tristeza de pensar que El nos abandona en medio de las dificultades de la vida, para luego ir reflexionando en que aún en ese silencio El está allí para nosotros.

Por mucho tiempo escuché este tema, convirtiéndose en mi favorito de este Artista Cristiano. El sonido del silencio se encuentra en el quinto álbum titulado con el mismo nombre de la canción y fue publicado en el año 2006, dónde además trabajó al lado de varios artistas cristianos.

Cuando le mencioné el tema a mi esposo, se emocionó tanto que inmediatamente comenzó a crear el arreglo a dos guitarras, les confieso que me sentí nerviosa y además incrédula porque pensé que no lo lograría, pero a medida que iba practicando me sentía más segura y emocionada de los resultados obtenidos.

Espero que ustedes puedan escuchar este cover y sentir lo especial que es y todo lo amor y trabajo que le hemos dedicado para esta semana.

What a pleasure to be with you again, dear family of the Hive Open mic, I greet all the participants of this week, I congratulate you for your work and dedication in each presentation you make.

For this occasion the chosen theme is "Conversation with God", many songs came to my mind that I would have liked to sing, but among so many options came to my mind a song by singer-songwriter Alex Campos entitled The sound of silence and I think it is perfect for the occasion because it speaks of the emotions we can have when we feel that God does not speak to us or answer any request, that sadness of thinking that He abandons us in the midst of the difficulties of life, and then go reflecting on that even that silence He is there for us.

For a long time I listened to this song, becoming my favorite of this Christian Artist. The sound of silence is found in the fifth album titled with the same name of the song and was released in 2006, where he also worked alongside several Christian artists.

When I mentioned the song to my husband, he got so excited that he immediately began to create the arrangement with two guitars, I confess that I felt nervous and also incredulous because I thought I would not make it, but as I was practicing I felt more confident and excited about the results.
