La mejor medicina que existe para poder sentirnos bien durante alguna tormenta se llama hacer lo que nos gusta, ya sea ir de paseo, ver una película, escuchar nuestra canción favorita y hasta comer un rico chocolate, no sé a ustedes pero eso a mí me pone de muy buen humor.

Han sido días un poco extraños, de esos en los que piensas que nada puede empeorar y resulta que a penas es el comienzo.

Hace días un vecino sin querer dejó encendida su cocina por cuatro horas y el resultado de eso fue encontrarnos unos días después sin gas, como vivo en una residencia eso nos afecta a todos, pues no nos dimos cuenta que faltaba poco para hacer el pedido a la compañía de gas y bueno... Fue un fin de semana muy largo para mí, tuve que usar prestada una cocina electrica de una hornilla que hacía el proceso de cocinar muy lento.

It was a very long weekend for me, I had to borrow a one burner electric stove that made the cooking process very slow.

Tener un niño pequeño también me puso un poco angustiada por el hecho de que está en la edad que son pocas las cosas que le gusta comer, la preocupación de que se esté alimentando bien y lo limitada que estaba con esa cocinita me estaba llevando a un estado de angustia total.

Pero pensando mejor, volviendo a tierra y tratando ser parte de la solución y no del problema dije: mejor cantemos, es impresionante lo que puede hacer la música en nuestro estado de ánimo, recuerdo que en uno de mis trabajos en mi época universitaria mis compañeros de trabajo y yo tomábamos un tiempo para elegir canciones que nos gustaban, y la primera que pasaba por mente era Yellow.

Esta canción me encanta por su sencillez, pero al mismo tiempo ese toque tan mágico que le da el falsete del vocalista... Me hace sentir tan bien, relajada y calmada. Sin duda es el tipo de música que me gusta escuchar cuando el estrés invade mi vida, a veces lo sencillo y simple puede convertirse en nuestro tesoro más preciado o nuestro recuerdo más anhelado.
