Good morning dear Hivers. I have witnessed an awesome thing that was going on during the past 2-3 days. In this community, an extraordinary engagement occurred in Weekend Engagement - week 18, hosted by @galenkp: more than 600 replies for one weekend. I have to be honest, I lost after around 400 replies made by others, so I have to train myself to read and write faster in English if I want to catch up.
So, after that weekend, my Monday morning now started, I have done some household chores already, breakfast, laundry, piano practising... Wait a moment!! It is not about Monday, this is a Weekend Engagement Community! Luckily, I have done my homework and made a short video of how my weekend went.
So first of all, Saturday morning started with my morning coffee and going to the supermarket for some food. After we gained the needed strength with the breakfast, I went to the cliffs to make a time-lapse video for a contest. It is "Love The Clouds" Contest, edition no.91, and this will be my first participation there. It was very windy, the tripod shook a few times, not a good thing for the video, but, I shouldn't complain. That was the day I had to use and make the best from it. After the filming, I made music for it, actually just a few melodic patterns over a simple harmonic structure.. representing those turbulent clouds (thoughts).. and a short description (poem?) of the way sometimes our mind rolls over and over some restless thoughts. The afternoon was spent on a beautiful walk. We came home super exhausted, the night arrived and the dreams replaced the reality.
Sunday!! Optimistic morning, some clouds decorating the sky and the tranquillity in the church promised a perfect Sunday. However, the craziness started at home with our music studying. My son practised the violin in his room (I have just an "outside of the room" short video, as I am not welcome to enter when he is practising... ) Imagine a teenager boy, whose mother is also a musician and always try to correct some notes, positions, phrasings... so he is just not thrilled with my instructions. Ok, then I will study in the living room. In the video, it can be heard the violin while I am playing. My poor husband, he doesn't have where to escape from us.
His patience with us has paid off because in the afternoon we have enjoyed a magnificent walk in the forest. It was so relaxing. And the views of the sunset were breathtaking.
Now I can start my new week with good vibes. Stay tuned dear weekend lovers, as just in five days we are again there.
