    About :

The dualism between darkness and light has been a topic of reflection since ancient times. In my opinion, it is closely connected with our spiritual condition, and the search for a balance between darkness and light, sorrow and happiness. Without wanting to
impose any religious beliefs here or to doubt other beliefs, let's see some different approaches to the topic of light, and sun in general.

If we search in ancient cultures, there were sun gods and goddess (even several ones within the same religious tradition). For example, the Egyptians had several gods associated with different aspects of the sun: Khepri for the rising sun, Ra for the noon sun, and Atum for the setting sun. In Greek religion, Helios was the god of the sun, and in Roman mythology, Sol was the personification of the sun.

According to the Bible, with the creation of the first day, the light was created as well. Here is the beginning of the first chapter:

    Genesis 1
    The Creation of the World
1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

From a scientific point of view, Sun is the centre of the Solar System. It is almost a perfect sphere of hot plasma, and it radiates the energy mainly as light and infrared radiation. Sun's light determines the climate for our planet and with the help of photosynthesis sustains almost every form of life.

We can remember those things from the school days or just search for the information in books or online, however, the more interesting question is what this star that warms us represents to each of us.
For me, it is clear. Life. Joy. Kindness. Happiness.
And what represents to you? Feel free to share with us what the sun means for you in the comment section.

Thank you for your time, may you all have a nice sunny and happy day.
