    About :

Being being able to sing is a happiness, but to sing to love is a cause for greater deletion. Today I share this eternal song that touches souls, "Sabor a mí" from the always remembered, Alvaro Carrillo.

The story of how this song is born is an anecdy anecdote that should be counted to understand what speaks _ "Sabor a mí" _. That is why I share the following textual fragment of the words of Mario Carrillo, son of Alvaro Carrillo, who tells us how the genesis of the award-winning and endearing musical theme was.

"It was in December of that year, 1957, when at the Christmas dinner, and being committed, my father took whiskey and between drink and drink he placed a kiss to my mother. My mother, like almost every woman, began to claim that she was taking a lot, suggesting that she stopped doing it. But my father did "Mutis" to serve another whiskey and so, sip after sip and kiss after kiss, the claims became routine. In one of those, he tells my aunt, that my mother told Álvaro Carrillo that of so much kiss was already getting drunk, that she did not take anything from her already had whiskey flavor in her mouth. My father, after a brief pause, revired and said, "What you have in the mouth is not flavor to whiskey is ... Taste to me". Both, accomplices of poetry, understood at that moment that the raised phrase of that claim was a poetic sentence that should become a song. My mother scored her as a task for my father and, breaking her sobriety, took a drink from my dad's glass and gave for him, probably, the biggest success that Álvaro Carrillo has composed ".

After this story, I do not say goodbye without first leaving them the lyrics of the song, always wishing them the best. Bye!

    Lyrics

So long we enjoy this love
Our souls approached so much so
    That I keep your flavor
    But you carry too
    Taste of me

Yes you will deny my presence in your living
It would be enough to hug you and talk
So much life I gave you
That by force you have already
    Taste of me

I do not pretend to be your owner
I'm nothing I do not have vanity
Of my life I give the good
I am so poor, that another thing I can give
Will spend more than a thousand years, many more
I do not know if I have love eternity
    But there, just like here
In the mouth you will take
    Taste of me

    SPANISH VERSION

Chau!

    Letra

Tanto tiempo disfrutamos de éste amor
Nuestras almas se acercaron tanto así
    Que yo guardo tu sabor
    Pero tu llevas también
    Sabor a mí

Sí negaras mi presencia en tu vivir
    Bastaría con abrazarte y conversar
    Tanta vida yo te di
    Que por fuerza tienes ya
    Sabor a mí

    No pretendo ser tu dueño
No soy nada yo no tengo vanidad
De mi vida doy lo bueno
Soy tan pobre, que otra cosa puedo dar
Pasarán más de mil años, muchos más
Yo no sé si tenga amor la eternidad
    Pero allá, tal como aquí
    En la boca llevarás
    Sabor a mí
