    About :

Hi my dears! Today I want to share with you the Estudio N°2, Op. 52 by the German composer Cornelius Gurlitt. Within the piano field, the work of this composer is commonly used in the context of teaching.

Someone asked me once telling me - Hey! Isn't that the same Cornelius Gurlitt who hid hundreds of Nazi paintings for 60 years? - No! I told. Cornelius Gurlitt was a composer born on February 10, 1820 in Germany, while the Cornelius Gurlit that you mention was also born in Germany but in 1932, the son of Hildebrand Gurlitt, better known as the Hitler's Dealer, that is, a merchant of works of art in the service of Hitler.

Returning to the topic of this publication, this study, composed in the key of G minor, is developed in tempo vivace under a figure indicating compound compass (6/16). A small ternary rhythmic motif will be present in the three parts that make up the formal structure of the piece, providing, along with harmony, sonorous beauty charged with simplicity, movement and lightness.

Well... I hope you like it. So far what I wanted to tell you. Thanks for stopping by here. Bye!

Bueno... Espero les guste. Hasta acá lo que les quería contar. Gracias por pasar por aquí. Chau!
