Hello greetings to all once again, this time I want to show you how I change a closure to a backpack already with several years of use, the backpack belongs to one of my best friends, he explained to me that he has been using this backpack for more than 5 years and that its main closure lost the strength to be able to close the zipper teeth and I thought that even the backpack can have a second chance.

To carry out our project, we had to look for a place where they would sell closures, preferably by the meter to be able to buy the exact measure, since when I measured it, it was 80 centimeters and therefore I could buy a whole meter because it is preferable that there be more than not.

    Process:

The steps were very simple, the first thing was to unsew the old zipper since the same one, as I mentioned above, no longer worked, I very carefully unstitched it to then join the new one, he decided to join it first by hand basting it and then sew it with a sewing machine and in this way avoid errors at the time of sewing since the fabric I do not think it can withstand errors being so old.
