Authorized mining centers shut down until March 6

Rajabi Mashhadi, the spokesman of the electricity industry of Iran, announced that authorized miners can use about 209 Megawatt. So, all the authorized mining centers are getting shut down during the cold season until March, 6.
He added that struggling with unauthorized crypto miners is continuing intensely.
Although Iranian Government didn’t take action against cryptocurrencies, previously, Iranian miners were forced to register in order not to get caught and shut down and to be able to use industrial electricity for mining. But a few months ago, in the period of extensive blackouts, they shut down in order to save electricity for necessary purposes.
