Hive Open Mic Week 103 / Rimas pa´ seducir (Vocal Cover) By @migueydani

¡Hello! what a pleasure to participate again in this great community of Hive open mic, for week 103 the selected topic is Survival. A word that really has many meanings but I dared to investigate and share with you the one that caught my attention: it is the action and effect of surviving. This term, in turn, refers to living after a certain event, living after the death of another person or living in adverse conditions and without means.

With the definition I mentioned above I was able to sit down and reflect, asking myself what song does that represent for me? Believe me it was very easy, I did not hesitate. It's called Rimas pa'seducir (Rhymes to seduce) by the Puerto Rican group Cultura Profética. This song belongs to the album La Dulzura, released in 2010 under the band's independent record label.

The choice of this song is due to the love I have for my family, my parents, son and wife. In fact I confess that I used to put my son to sleep with this song (he learned it). In difficult moments I sing it at the top of my lungs and I know that everything will pass. When I arrived in Colombia my life took a turn that changed everything in my present, but without fear I faced what was coming and only the love of those who are by my side today allowed me to be a survivor.
