Cazando Naturaleza | Video

Estaba en mi cuarto navegando en un canal de YouTube de música en vivo libre de derecho de autor, cuando espontáneamente vino a mi mente la idea de salir a hacer fotos en la naturaleza y grabar parte del proceso.

I was in my room browsing a YouTube channel of royalty-free live music, when the idea of going out to take pictures in nature and record part of the process spontaneously came to my mind.

En un principio quise solo hacer fotos del rocío y de las aves que viese en mi casa, luego me decidí a caminar por una montaña que queda cerca, allí probé suerte en retratar unas aves.

At first I just wanted to take pictures of the dew and the birds I saw at home, then I decided to go for a walk in a nearby mountain, there I tried my luck in taking pictures of some birds.

El día estaba nublado (hoy lunes 2 de agosto) y era cerca del medio día. La primera escena que capté fue la de un ave amarilla junto con su cría que estaban en una pared de mi casa. Allí conseguí las fotos que más me gustaron.

Luego, me adentré en la montaña. Cuando subí la primera, vi otra ave entre las rejas, cuya especie volvería a ver en el mismo lugar pero cuando descendía de regreso a casa.

The day was cloudy (today Monday August 2nd) and it was around 12 noon. The first scene I captured was a yellow bird and its baby on a wall of my house. There I got the photos I liked the most.

Then, I went into the mountain. When I climbed the first one, I saw another bird between the bars, a species I would see again in the same place but when I was descending back home.

Muchos plumíferos estaban lejos del alcance de mi percepción visual y también del de la cámara. Oía el trinar de los animales voladores, pero no alcanzaba a verlos.

Arriba, tomé otra foto, no fue la mejor. Las aves advierten la presencia de uno y se mueven hacia otro lugar donde no estemos a su alcance.

Many feathered creatures were far from the range of my visual perception and also from that of the camera. I could hear the chirping of flying animals, but could not see them.

Above, I took another picture, but it was not the best. The birds notice my presence and move to another place where they are not within my reach.

Una de las fotos que más me costó hacer fue la de un zamuro, hice varias tomas pero solo una quedó bien enfocada. En el clip puedes ver lo lejos que estaban algunas de las aves que retraté.

Luego de terminar el clip, vi a dos perros de los vecinos y también les hice fotos, me pareció ideal terminar con una imagen de las mascotas del vecindario.

One of the photos I had the most trouble taking was of a vulture, I took several shots but only one was in focus. In the clip you can see how far away were some of the birds I photographed.

After finishing the clip, I saw two of the neighbors' dogs and I also took pictures of them, I thought it was ideal to finish with an image of the neighborhood pets.

No todas las fotos dieron en el punto dulce (por acá te explico en video sobre ello), pero en general me gustaron bastante las imágenes que logré.

Not all the photos hit the sweet spot (here's a video about it), but overall I liked the images I got.
