Abrazo fraterno para todos mis amigos músicos; por acá muy feliz y contento con este inicio de semana, comenzando a trabajar fuertemente y aprovechando la oportunidad para dejar algo por acá para todos ustedes.

Quiero comentarles que unas de las prácticas más concurridas (por la mayor parte de los musicos que en algún momento nos dedicamos a la grabación), es la creación de recursos; Crear recursos o entender lo que tenemos en nuestro lenguaje es realmente vital para alguien que se dedique a la grabación.

Personalmente yo llevo esta práctica de una manera muy sencilla, muy divertida y que muchas veces representa un reto.

Lo que yo suelo hacer es básicamente descargar pistas musicales en diferentes estilos pero que no traigan la batería grabada, y esto con la finalidad de poner en práctica mis recursos sobre esas pistas y trabajar en pro de tener un buen resultado entre los instrumentos que trajo la pista y mi aporte como baterista.

Créame que escuchar una ejecución propia, sobre una pista, y oír como se pudo adaptar tu interpretación a lo que ya estaba, es algo que te sorprende y es muy motivador.

Básicamente el ejercicio es como una noche de Karaoke, con la diferencia que la letra no están predefinidas, lo mismo pasa en esta caso, el ritmo o los patrones rítmicos no están definidos, vienen a ser recursos propios expuestos en la pista.

I want to tell you that one of the most popular practices (by most of the musicians who at some point dedicate ourselves to recording), is the creation of resources; Creating resources or understanding what we have in our language is really vital for someone who is dedicated to recording.

Personally, I carry out this practice in a very simple, fun way that often represents a challenge.

What I usually do is basically download musical tracks in different styles but that do not have the drums recorded, and this in order to put my resources into practice on those tracks and work towards having a good result among the instruments that the track and my contribution as a drummer.

Believe me, listening to your own performance, on a track, and hearing how your performance was adapted to what was already there, is something that surprises you and is very motivating.

Basically the exercise is like a Karaoke night, with the difference that the lyrics are not predefined, the same thing happens in this case, the rhythm or rhythmic patterns are not defined, they become their own resources exposed on the track.
