    INGLES

Giant hug for all my musician friends in the community, I hope this week is going with a lot of music for you.

Today I bring you something different, I took a little time to show you how I try to equalize my drums with the few equipment that I have in my humble home studio. Please try to use headphones so that you can see the difference much better.

In the first video I show the unedited drum sound, that is, the input that the raw microphones give me.

In the second video I show the final editing product of how the drums sound to me alone in several songs that I have made.

Note: I'm not using any kind of trigger and nothing about it, just EQ and Dynamycs.

I would like to know your comments regarding the edition and the answers to the question ... What did you think? (Remember all the limitations that I have mentioned)

    EQUIPMENT:

-The DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) I use is Protools by avid.

-The microphone kit I use is from the Soundking brand:

-ED-04 for the Drum and FloorTom.
    -ED-05 stops at tom1.
    -ED-11 for the Bass Drum
-ED-22B for a single Overhead, that is, I use 5 mic for the entire drums and I don't mic the hit hat.

-Important is that I use a Neewer NW as a console and input interface and an M-audio Mobilepre for audio output, that is, I only have a 2-channel input interface for the entire battery.
